Rocky Point beach volleyball tournament - "Beachfest"

Saturday October 2, 2010 will be OuttaTownProductions Fall edition of beach volleyball, themed "Beachfest".

REGISTRATION
Only 32 teams will be taken. Registration fee is $160 per team and is due by Sat Sept 18, 2010.
Single players may sign up also and be placed on a team for $40 per player. TEAM NAMES
"Beachfest" requires team names to be beach, ocean, sand, water, boat, sunrise/sunset, tiki or island related. Two words or less, please.
Teams must be coed 4's with one female minimum. DIVISIONS
A and B teams. Register your team in A(online registration form).
16 teams maximum.
C and D teams. Register your team in B(online registration form).
16 teams maximum.
A division will be broken into Gold and Silver brackets with 8 teams each after pool play.
B division will be broken into Bronze and Copper brackets with 8 teams each after pool play. FORMAT
Pool play will consist of 7 pool games each team. This will seed the teams to go into Gold, Silver , Bronze, or Copper brackets. These brackets will then go into regular double elimination tournament after lunch. CASH prizes for winners! BEACH AND LODGING

We will play on the smooth, clean and level beach in front of the Sonoran Sea. FRIDAY OCT 1
Check in on the beach starting at sunset until about 10PM. Look for the ring of tiki torches. Bring your chairs and coolers and join us in the "Chill Zone" for roster signing, volleyball stories, player swaps, cervezas and margaritas. One court will be lighted for night play!! Then off to Chango's for an unofficial party. SATURDAY OCT 2
Check in on the beach by 8:15AM for those who missed Friday night. Get you last minute players, pick up player shirts, player meeting. Play starts promptly at 9AM.
There will be two directors tents. One for Gold/Silver, and one for Bronze/Copper, eliminating the time lag for team captains to run down the beach to report scores.
After lunch, full double elimination tournament for all four 8-team brackets, so there will be finals games to stay and watch.
CASH prizes will be awarded by the pool immediately after tournament finishes.
9Pm starts OFFICIAL player party at Chango's. Winners are buying for everyone!!! SUNDAY
